Do you know Seeing the Everyday? I can't really describe it. Only that's it's realness and simplicity and truth, bound together and sent via the postal service.
This week, with the word PLAY on my mind, I was moved by this image from Brothers with Trucks - a photo essay - in the recent issue.
And it catches something, something so zen about how little boys play with cars. Something that they can't possibly have learned in their short little lives. Something that I think must be in their genes. Something so focused. Something so peaceful - until someone else comes along and wants that same car. But for that time right before, something about this photo says it all.
A subscription to Seeing the Everday makes a wonderful gift for new parents and a holiday gift for teachers and others who inspire us everyday. Also, their blog is just as divine.
Happy PLAY week!
